Teaching Heritage L.L.C. partners with museum education leaders to positively support the visitor experience at Black-centered cultural sites and museums. We understand the challenge: volunteer docents programs are passionate but inconsistent, leading to uneven visitor experiences, constant staff retraining, and disorganization. Our mission is to ensure every visitor receives high-quality, ethical interpretation that honors the stories and significance of Black cultural heritage, and fosters a healthy volunteer culture.

We specialize in three core areas: tour curation that brings cultural narratives to life, volunteer docent management that ensures consistent excellence, and strategic partnership development that connects museums with meaningful collaborators. By addressing the gaps in volunteer training, interpretation quality, and relationship management, we help museum professionals focus on their mission while we ensure operational excellence and authentic storytelling.
